Le vin  est nommé ainsi parce que les raisins proviennent de vignobles proche  du village de Corullón. Les vignobles sont plantés sur des pentes très abruptes et les sols sont travaillés au cheval ou à la mule. Un nez d’une grande intensité et complexité avec une touche à la fois florale et minérale un peu épicée. Structure dense et tannique qui demande encore un peu de temps pour s’affiner. L’acidité et les tanins équilibrent parfaitement le fruit noir juteux. Ce vin a la structure et l’élégance pour durer bien au-delà de dix ans. 

If I was impressed with the 2012 vintage, the 2013 Corullón is otherworldy, especially for the vintage. The wine is tight and solid, a little exotic, extremely balsamic with lots of smoky notes and aromas that reminded me of a cypress, developing very classical aromas of pear and blood orange. Subtle and elegant. The palate is medium-bodied, sharp, very fresh, serious, with good concentration. Very consistent and compact, sometimes these wines from a mélange of vineyards can be extremely complete, and this is a good example. This could very well be the surprise of 2013. Drinkable and approachable, but with the stuffing and balance to live and develop for a good decade (or more). The price is very reasonable for the quality it delivers; wines of this quality are very often double the price asked here. 11,448 bottles produced, one of the shortest vintages of Corullón, where they had to sort and discard plenty of grapes. Robert Parker.
