Notes de dégustation: un Barolo d’une grande profondeur, intense, voluptueux et tannique à la fois. Sur des notes de truffe, de fruits rouges et noirs, d’herbes de Provence, de feuille de tabac et de réglisse. Le vin montre toutes les caractéristiques du terroir de Serralunga mais c’est un millésime classique comme on en faisait dans les années 1970 et 1980 avec plus d’austérité et plus tannique qu’à l’habitude. C’est un millésime qu’il faudra attendre pour que les tannins se résorbent et qui sera similaire aux  1996 et 1999.

This wine shows the quintessential attributes of the Serralunga d’Alba appellation with dark fruit flavors and powerful intensity.
