C’est très minéral en bouche, sur la pierre à fusil. C’est pur avec une belle rectitude et avec une acidité naturelle élevée. C’est un sauvignon qui peut vieillir gracieusement quelques années.

“In contrast to the Viognier, the 2013 Sauvignon Blanc Mcginley doesn’t go through malolactic fermentation, yet sees a similar elevage in older oak barrel. Possessing a Loire style in its grassy herbs, citrus, white flowers and striking minerality, it’s medium-bodied, racy and even borderline tart on the finish. Possessing fabulous purity of fruit and a clean, dry finish, I’d drink it over the coming couple of years, but certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see it have a long, interesting evolution either.” – Robert Parker: 91/100
