CA’ MARCANDA – GAJA CA’MARCANDA PROMIS 2014

Le nom de cette cuvée vient du latin promissio, qui veut dire promesse.
Notes de dégustation: grenat clair, le vin est sur les fruits noirs, cerise noire et mûre. En bouche c’est élégant, souple et bien équilibré. Le vin est de densité moyenne mais l’ensemble est cohérent et harmonieux. C’est un assemblage atypique mais qui est bien construit. Le merlot lui donne à la fois la structure et la volupté, la syrah, le parfum et les fruits noirs et le sangiovese lui donne de la vivacité.

The 2014 Promis (Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese) shows the signs of the more difficult vintage with lower intensity and less depth compared to the 2013 and other vintages before it. There is a big silver lining that comes, thanks to the wine’s fresh acidity and bright primary fruit profile. Promis is a pleasure to drink now and that’s exactly how it should be consumed.
